Titans Closing In On Long-Term Extension With SS Jordan Babineaux

Terry McCormick of TitansInsider.com reports that the Titans are close to signing SS Jordan Babineaux to a long-term contract.

Tennessee used their franchise tag on FS  Michael Griffin this afternoon so this would ensure that the back end of their defensive would remain the same in 2012. The Titans will still have to wait until the start of free agency to get anything finalized but the two sides appear to be pretty to getting this done.
