Titans Re-Sign TE Craig Stevens To A One-Year, $2M Deal

New Titans GM Jon Robinson said Thursday night that they’ve reached an agreement with TE Craig Stevens, per Jim Wyatt.

  • Ian Rapoport reports that Stevens receives a one-year contract worth $2 million from the Titans.
  • Rapoport adds that the agreement can be worth up to $2.6 million if Stevens reaches incentives included in the deal.

John Glennon of the Tennessean recently reported that the Titans and Stevens were discussing a new contract, so it was clear that a deal could be in place at some point in the near future.

Stevens, 31, is a former third-round pick of the Titans back in 2008. After playing out his rookie contract, Stevens returned to the team on a four-year contract.

In 2015, Stevens appeared in all 16 games for the Titans and recorded 12 receptions for 121 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 5 tight end out of 73 qualifying players.
