Vikings Make Several Roster Moves

The Minnesota Vikings announced several roster moves on Saturday including activating CB Cameron Dantzler from the COVID-19 List.

Other roster moves from Minnesota include:

• Vikings activated LB Troy Dye from injured reserve.

• Vikings activated CB Chris Jones from the exempt list.

• Vikings promoted C Brett Jones, DB Luther Kirk and DT Hercules Mata’afa to their active roster.

These three promotions will revert back to the Vikings’ practice squad on Monday without having to clear waivers.

Dantzler, 22, was a two-year starter at Mississippi State. The Vikings selected him with the No. 89 pick in the third round of this year’s draft.

Dantzler signed a four-year, $4,585,625 rookie contract that includes an $895,001 signing bonus.

In 2020, Dantzler has appeared in four games for the Vikings and recorded 24 tackles and no interceptions.
