49ers Signing G Zane Beadles To A Three-Year, $11.75M Deal

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the 49ers are signing G Zane Beadles to a three-year, $11.75 million deal.

This if the first reported into in Beadles since he was released by the Jaguars a few days before the start of free agency.

It’s worth mentioning that signing Beadles to a contract won’t factor into the 49ers’ 2017 compensatory picks.

Beadles, 29, was in the third year of his five-year, $30 million contract that included $12.5 million guaranteed when he was released in a move that freed up $5.5 million in available cap space for the Jaguars.

In 2015, Beadles appeared in all 16 games for the Jaguars and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 64 guard out of 81 qualifying players.

We had him featured in our Best Available Free Agents list.
