AFC North Notes: Bengals, Ravens, Steelers



  • According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Bengals RB Giovani Bernard is not expected to miss much time after spraining his knee on Sunday. 
  • Bengals HC Zac Taylor said WR A.J. Green is day-to-day, declining to commit to anything besides that after last week. (Ben Baby)


  • Per the Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec, Ravens HC John Harbaugh said DT Michael Pierce is day-to-day with a minor injury: “Nothing serious. It won’t be a long-term injury. There’s a chance that he’ll play Sunday. We’ll just see how he does.”
  • Harbaugh confirmed the Ravens plan to activate fourth-round rookie CB Iman Marshall: “Hopefully he can contribute to us.” (Zrebiec)


  • According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac, the Steelers expect to have RB James Conner for Thursday night’s game against the Browns. 
  • Steelers HC Mike Tomlin added he felt comfortable about G Ramon Foster‘s chances of playing Thursday as well. (Omar Ruiz)
