Bills Re-Sign CB Ryan Lewis To PS, Release OT De’Ondre Wesley

The Buffalo Bills announced Thursday that they’ve re-signed CB Ryan Lewis to their practice squad after he cleared waivers and released OT De’Ondre Wesley from the unit.

The Bills’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. RB Keith Ford
  2. DE Mike Love
  3. S Dean Marlowe
  4. WR Cam Phillips
  5. LB Corey Thompson
  6. CB Levi Wallace
  7. OL Ruben Holcomb
  8. DT Robert Thomas
  9. DT Kyle Peko
  10. CB Ryan Lewis

Lewis, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed him to the Cardinals practice squad.

Lewis later caught on with the Patriots signed, but was among their final roster cuts on at the start of the 2018 regular season. The Bills claimed Lewis off of waivers only to waive him on Wednesday.

During his college career at Pittsburgh, Lewis recorded 103 tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss, a sack, two interceptions and eight pass defenses over the course of 40 games.
