Adam Schefter reports that the Cardinals have traded QB Josh Rosen to the Dolphins.

The Cardinals acquired Miami’s No. 62 overall pick in the second round. Miami also sent a 2020 fifth-round pick for Rosen.

Pro Football Talk, citing multiple sources, reported earlier today that the Dolphins and Cardinals had a deal for Rosen “tentatively done,” so this was expected to occur.

The Dolphins were clearly the team to watch Rosen after the Giants and Redskins both drafted quarterbacks in round one.

It was long expected for the Cardinals to trade Rosen since the rumors that they would draft Murray began.

Arizona has already paid Rosen a $10,926,792 signing bonus, so he has a very reasonable contract moving forward.

Rosen, 22, is a former first-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2018. He signed a four-year, $17,664,284 contract and stands to make base salaries of $570,000 and $660,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

The contract includes a fifth-year option for the Cardinals to pick up in 2021.

In 2018, Rosen appeared in 14 games for the Cardinals and completed 55.2 percent of his passes for 2,278 yards, 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
