Broncos Place TE Jeff Heuerman On IR, Promote TE Temarrick Hemingway

The Denver Broncos have placed TE Jeff Heuerman on injured reserve and promoted TE Temarrick Hemingway to their active roster on Tuesday, according to Nicki Jhabvala.

  • Broncos signed OLB Caushaud Lyons, TE Tim Semisch and OT Dan Skipper to their practice squad.
  • Broncos placed OT Andreas Knappe on the practice squad injured list.

Heuerman, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Broncos back in 2015. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2.945 million contract and set to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season.

Heuerman will be an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

In 2018, Heuerman appeared in 11 games for the Broncos and caught 31 passes for 281 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
