NFL Notes: Bills, Broncos, Falcons, Lions, & Packers

Bills

Broncos

  • Mike Garafolo reports that the Broncos are working out undrafted rookie WR Nigel King on Sunday.

Falcons

Lions

  • According to Michael Rothstein, Lions WR Ryan Broyles has a decent chance to make the roster as long as he remains healthy. However, he’ll likely need to outperform Jeremy Ross, TJ Jones, Lance Moore and Andrew Peacock.
  • Rothstein believes there is a definitely a chance the Lions could have a long-term extension in place with OLB DeAndre Levy at some point in the near future.
  • As for under-the-radar players who could have an impact this season, Rothstein suggests DL Phillip Hunt, DE Corey Wootton, and S Taylor Mays.

Packers

  • Rob Demovsky writes that the Packers are “committed as ever to using Clay Matthews at inside linebacker.
  • According to Demovsky, rookie WR Ty Montgomery has made an eye-catching play or two every step along the way this offseason.
  • Demovsky believes undrafted CB LaDarius Gunter has a “real shot” to make the team.
