NFL Notes: Leighton Vander Esch, Draft, Giants, Titans

Leighton Vander Esch

• James Palmer reports that Boise State LB Leighton Vander Esch had a meeting over dinner with the Steelers on Monday and will have an official visit with the Cowboys on Wednesday.
• Palmer adds that Vander Esch has visited the Saints and Eagles and will visit every team from No. 12 to No. 26 overall except the Ravens, Rams, and Chargers.
• According to Ian Rapoport, Vander Esch is scheduled to meet with the Cardinals this week.

Draft

• Fordham OL Anthony Coyle has an official visit set up with the Texans and is also has a private workout set with the Falcons. (Tony Pauline)
• Temple DL Jullian Taylor has an official visit scheduled with the Raiders. (Tony Pauline)
• SMU DE Justin Lawler has official visits set with the Buccaneers and Rams this week. (Tony Pauline)
• Villanova CB Malik Reaves is visiting with the Chiefs Tuesday and will meet with the Texans, Raiders, Jaguars and Eagles over the next few weeks. (Aaron Wilson)

• Middle Tennessee State CB Charvarius Ward is visiting the Browns on Tuesday and has interest from the Chargers. (Chris Shanafelt)

• Mike Jones reports that the Raiders hosted Louisville CB Jaire Alexander for an official pre-draft visit on Tuesday. Jones adds that Alexander has previously met with the Panthers.
• Mizzou G Adam Ploudre will workout with the Chiefs on Friday at their local prospect day. (Adam Schiffer)
• According to Jenna Laine, N.C. State RB Nyheim Hines worked out privately for Buccaneers OC Todd Monken after his Pro Day workout in March.
• The Saints recently had a private visit with Nebraska DB Joshua Kalu. (Josh Katzenstein)

Giants

• The Giants have Top 30 visits scheduled with Wyoming’s Josh Allen, USC’s Sam Darnold, Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield and UCLA’s Josh Rosen for next week. (Albert Breer)

• According to Jon Ledyard, the Titans are a team to keep an eye in regards to Florida State DE Josh Sweat, as they’ve shown a lot of interest in him.
• Colorado State QB Nick Stevens and WR Michael Gallup had private workouts with the Titans Tuesday. (Mike Klis)
