Packers Officially Cut Roster Down To 53 Players

The Green Bay Packers announced Saturday that they’ve officially reduced their active roster down to the 53-man limit.

Here’s the list of roster cuts for the Packers:

  1. RB Dexter Williams
  2. RB Damarea Crockett
  3. FB John Lovett
  4. WR Jake Kumerow
  5. WR Darrius Shepherd
  6. WR Malik Turner
  7. WR Reggie Begelton
  8. TE Evan Baylis
  9. OL John Leglue
  10. OL Cody Conway
  11. OL Zack Johnson
  12. OL Alex Light
  13. OL Jake Hanson
  14. DL Willington Previlon
  15. DL Treyvon Hester (Injured)
  16. LB Krys Barnes
  17. OLB Tim Williams
  18. OLB Tipa Galeai
  19. OLB Greg Roberts
  20. OLB Delontae Scott
  21. CB Will Sunderland (Injured)
  22. S Henry Black

Other roster moves:

Kumerow, 28, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin-Whitewater back in 2015. He was on and off the team’s practice squad during his rookie season but returned to the Bengals on a futures contract.

Kumerow eventually joined the Packers and returned to Green Bay on a futures contract for the 2018 season. He returned to Green Bay last year on an exclusive rights contract. 

In 2019, Kumerow appeared in 14 games for the Packers and caught 12 passes for 219 yards receiving and one touchdown.
