Ravens Worked Out Veteran WR Jeremy Kerley

Field Yates of ESPN reports that Ravens brought in veteran WR Jeremy Kerley for a workout on Tuesday.

Kerley, 28, is a former fifth-round pick of the Jets back in 2011. He spent five years in New York before he was released back in March of last year and later signed to a one-year contract worth over $1 million by the Lions.

Detroit elected to trade Kerley to the 49ers in exchange for OL Brandon Thomas coming out of the preseason in 2016.

The 49ers signed Kerley to a three-year, $10.5 million deal that included a $1.7 million signing bonus back in March only to cut him loose coming out of the preseason. Kerley signed on with the Jets soon after.

Kerley had just finished serving his four-game suspension for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances when the Jets cut him loose last week.

In 2017, Kerley has appeared in seven games and caught 22 passes for 217 yards receiving and one touchdown.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
