Steelers Sign RB Terrell Watson

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced that they’ve signed RB Terrell Watson to a contract on Thursday.

Watson, 23, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Azusa Pacific back in 2015. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later added to the Bengals’ practice squad at the start of the 2015 season.

The Browns signed Watson to a future/reserve contract this last year but he was once again among the final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. He had a brief stint with the Broncos before eventually signing on to the Eagles’ practice squad and was eventually promoted to their active roster.

In 2016, Watson appeared in one game and rushed for 28 yards on nine carries (3.1 YPC) to go along with one reception for five yards receiving and a touchdown.
