Titans Waive Former Second-Round OLB Kevin Dodd

The Tennessee Titans announced Tuesday that they’ve waived former second-round OLB Kevin Dodd.

Even before the Titans placed Dodd on the did-not-report list last week, his future in Tennessee was in question.

Dodd made the decision skip the team’s OTAs after the Titans traded up for Harold Landry in this year’s draft.

Dodd, 26, is a former second-round pick by the Titans out of Clemson in the 2016 NFL Draft. He is entering the third year of his four-year, $6.55 million rookie contract and is set to earn a base salary of $1.04 million in 2018.

In 2017, Dodd appeared in nine games for the Titans and recorded seven total tackles and no sacks.
