Washington CB Byron Murphy “Heavy Favorite” To Be Drafted By Cardinals At No. 33

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Washington CB Byron Murphy is the “heavy favorite” to be selected by the Cardinals at No. 33 overall if Arizona keeps the pick.

During the pre-draft process, Murphy met with the Cardinals, Chiefs, Panthers and Steelers.

Murphy, 5-11 and 182 pounds, is seen as one of the better cornerbacks in the draft and many thought he could come off the board in round one.

Lance Zierlein compares Murphy to Brent Grimes.

In two seasons at Washington, Murphy recorded 74 tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles six interceptions and 20 pass defenses in 20 games.
